From our Collection: Brown & Polar Concert & Workshop. Come SING with Blind Boy Jerron Paxton & Bennett Konesni

This combination concert/workshop will give you an opportunity to hear a short set from Brown&Polar and then sing along as they teach songs from two rich traditions: enchanting refrains from Jerron’s Louisiana family and engaging choruses from the fields, forests, and coast of Bennett’s native Maine.  Covering Blues, Shanties, Hollers, Lumbercamp songs, Play songs, and Farmers’ ballads, this 90-minute workshop will explore the unexpected connections between these two unique singers and send you home with songs to enliven and energize your dooryard.
